A view taken from Hoe Street Bridge. The original building and canopy on the left hand side have changed very little since the picture taken above in 1870.
Just the chimneys have gone!

L.M.S. designed 350 b.h.p. 0-6-0 Diesel Shunter No. 12123
at work at Hoe Street around 1958.
Note the footbridge which was removed when the subway was built for the Victoria line underground some ten years later.
